Chris undertook three years of training as a Studio cameraman at BBC Television Centre, and over a fifteen year career worked on every type of live and recorded production from Children In Need to Only Fools & Horses and Later with Jools, and eventually as Camera Supervisor on flagship shows such as Eastenders.

On leaving the studios, Chris became a production innovator seeking efficient, low-cost methods of making programmes which included Self-Op shooting and editing. This led to a rewarding decade as a Production Support Specialist coaching and advising programme teams from departments across the BBC including Factual, Entertainment, Children’s, Classical Music, News and Global News.

Chris sits on the Board of Directors of Yehudi Menuhin School Enterprises, and is currently working part-time running a BFI funded project at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, where he is based.
